What is Rastros?
Rastros (Spanish means trails/traces) is a cultural Festival that strives to stir a sense of belonging and deepen connection among the Latinx and other communities.
October is Latin American Heritage Month in Canada and we want to commemorate it by celebrating with the Saskatchewan community.
About the Festival
Last year, Rastros showcased Latinidad through a photographic exhibition. This year, Rastros seeks to celebrate Latin heritage by bringing a one of its kind festival. You will be able to enjoy performances, food, and find vendors from different countries in Latin America. Moreover, you will witness and take part in a panel discussion about the meaning of Latinidad, ethnicity and culture.
