Laura is the owner of La Taqueria Mexicana. She had always loved to cook and make authentic Mexican food. Laura owned a restaurant in Mexico before moving to Canada in 2008. After all of her experience in Mexico, she wanted to open up a new restaurant in Saskatoon and keep pursuing her passion. In November 2015, Laura officially opened La Taqueria Mexicana- Authentic Mexican food located right inside the Saskatoon Farmers Market! Laura prides herself in making some of the only truly authentic Mexican food in the city: “I do this because I was given a gift for cooking”
