Manuel Rodriguez

Manuel Rodriguez is the President and Cofounder of SK LATAM.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Minuto de Dios in Colombia, and after several years of hard work now he is an experienced sales and business developer of Service Companies and Retail Businesses. He and his family immigrated from their born country Colombia to Canada in 2016, and since then they have been living in Saskatoon, SK. 

Manuel is credited with creating an e-learning course for newcomers in Canada, and the Canada Latin Business directory. Currently, these both are fully developed and running in Saskatoon, SK and Manuel is working on the expansion of it to more cities and provinces.  In addition, he organized and promoted a fabulous Summer Latin Festival in Saskatoon last September, which brought together the community to enjoy a full day of food, activities, and some samples of Latin American culture. As the last SK Latam advance, Manuel and SK Latam are participating in Canada’s private sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies led by the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction. https://arisecanada.org/. He is always looking for the best way of helping, training and growing the community. Manuel’s favorite activities and hobbies are Travelling and Cooking Finally, he also uses his time for being International Student Advisor, Broadcast Producer Casta Latina Saskatchewan, Master of Ceremonies, and Events Planner.
